This immersive journey through the captivating landscapes of Scandinavia will take travelers through Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and even Estonia. Guests will explore majestic castles, vibrant cities, rich histories, and scenic landscapes. Beginning in the cultural heart of Copenhagen, the tour will visit iconic landmarks, cross beautiful seas, stroll historic towns, and sample local delicacies. Highlights include visits to Frederikborg Castle, the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony venue in Oslo, Stockholm’s Vasa Ship Museum, and a day trip to Estonia’s medieval capital, Tallinn. The trip concludes with a celebration in Helsinki, making this an unforgettable exploration of Northern Europe.

Day 1 – 04 Sep 2026 (Friday): Arrival in Copenhagen, Denmark

Welcome to Scandinavia! Enjoy a group transfer to your hotel and our Outlander Welcome Dinner!

Day 2 – 05 Sep 2026 (Saturday): Explore Copenhagen

A guided tour of Copenhagen, including Christiansborg Palace and The Little Mermaid statue. Free time followed by an evening visit to Tivoli Gardens.

Day 3 – 06 Sep 2026 (Sunday): Fredericksborg Castle

Enjoy a leisurely morning before exploring the magnificent Fredericksborg Castle and its Museum of National History.

Day 4 – 07 Sep 2026 (Monday): Ferry to Helsingborg, Sweden, and drive to Oslo, Norway

Cross to Sweden and stop in Gothenburg to explore the local market. Continue to Oslo for a group dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 – 08 Sep 2026 (Tuesday): Discover Oslo

Tour Oslo’s highlights, including Frogner Park and Oslo City Hall. Visit the Folk Museum and enjoy a traditional Norwegian lunch.

Day 6 – 09 Sep 2026 (Wednesday): Scenic Drive to Stockholm, Sweden

A scenic drive through the stunning Scandinavian landscape takes you from Oslo to Stockholm. Dinner awaits at the hotel.

Day 7 – 10 Sep 2026 (Thursday): Explore Stockholm

Discover the Old Town with a walking tour, including visits to the City Hall and the Vasa Ship Museum. Free time in the afternoon.

Day 8 – 11 Sep 2026 (Friday): Uppsala Excursion

Explore Uppsala’s Great Cathedral and royal burial mounds with a Swedish cake and coffee stop. Enjoy an evening walking tour of Stockholm, followed by dinner at a 14th-century restaurant.

Day 9 – 12 Sep 2026 (Saturday): Ferry to Helsinki, Finland

Free time in Stockholm before taking an overnight ferry to Helsinki with dinner on board.

Day 10 – 13 Sep 2026 (Sunday): Helsinki Sightseeing

Guided sightseeing in Helsinki, including the Lutheran Cathedral and Sibelius Monument. The afternoon is at leisure to explore the city.

Day 11 – 14 Sep 2026 (Monday): Day Trip to Tallinn, Estonia

Embark on a day trip to Tallinn, Estonia, for a guided tour of its medieval Old Town and famous landmarks.

Day 12 – 15 Sep 2026 (Tuesday): Free Day in Helsinki

A day at leisure in Helsinki to relax or explore on your own, followed by a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 13 – 16 Sep 2026 (Wednesday): Departure from Helsinki

After breakfast, a group transfers to the airport for your departure home.

Double Occupancy
$16,495 per person

Prices are Per Person, estimated and subject to change prior to deposit, based on availability and double occupancy. They include land, accommodations, transfers, overnight ferry, and all items shown as included in the itinerary, taxes, and fees. Prices do not include international Airfare.

Optional insurance is available (for residents of most states) but may need to be adjusted for the cost of the actual airfare once known. Prices and fares are non-refundable so you will need the insurance to cancel. The insurance is not “cancel for any reason”; cancellation is only reimbursed for a covered reason. 

The Deposit amount (and total price shown) already includes a $200 per person non-refundable Outlander Add-on and a $200 per person non-refundable professional fee paid to MGA Travel, which includes a special dinner and other amenities, planning, and our time. Please note that until deposited, pricing is subject to change and based on availability.

Limited Solo Traveler with a supplement of $3494 (we can try to help pair you with another solo traveler of the same gender if you wish to avoid the supplement). The solo deposit is $2400.

Pricing includes the Cruise, including taxes. Does not include international Airfare. Want to go? Simply complete this Secure Payment Form to authorize nonrefundable deposit of $1000 per person (plus recommended insurance, which will be quoted). For the name of the trip put “Scandinavian Capitals” . Deposits for Solo passengers may be different. Final Payment is April 1, 2026.
