November 7, 2026 for 6 nights, hosted by M&K*. Depart for Winnipeg, Canada where we will stage our visit to Manitoba for real life polar bear encounters in a special safari vehicle.

Itinerary

Day 1: November 7, 2026 – Arrive in Winnipeg & Explore the City
Tour begins: 2:00 PM, Inn at the Forks.
Arrive in Manitoba’s capital and transfer to your downtown hotel. The afternoon is yours to explore Winnipeg at your own pace. Discover the city’s cultural gems, like the Canadian Museum for Human Rights or the historic Exchange District, known for its stunning architecture and vibrant arts scene. We will have our Outlander Welcome Dinner tonight!

Day 2: November 8, 2026 – Private Reception & Manitoba Museum
Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of Winnipeg, including a visit to the Manitoba Museum, home to artifacts from the historic Hudson’s Bay Company and the 17th-century ship replica, the Nonsuch. In the evening, experience a Tauck Exclusive: a private, after-hours cocktail reception and dinner at the museum, featuring cultural traditions and performances from Canada’s Indigenous First Nations.

Day 3: November 9, 2026 – Private Charter Flight to Churchill
Board a private charter flight to Churchill, the “Polar Bear Capital of the World.” Upon arrival, take a guided tour of this remote Arctic town. Settle into the rustic and cozy Lazy Bear Lodge, constructed with handcrafted logs in the style of early fur-trading outposts. Dinner is served at the lodge, featuring regional flavors.

Day 4: November 10, 2026 – Polar Bear Safari
Embark on a full-day adventure in a specially designed tundra vehicle, journeying into the heart of polar bear country. Led by expert naturalists, this unforgettable safari provides exceptional opportunities to observe and photograph polar bears in their natural environment, while learning about the conservation efforts that protect these majestic creatures.

Day 5: November 11, 2026 – Arctic Wildlife & Inuit Culture
Visit the Eskimo Museum to explore one of Canada’s finest collections of Inuit art and artifacts. Later, enjoy another excursion into the subarctic plains, guided by naturalists who will point out wildlife like snowy owls, arctic foxes, and more. Warm up by the fire back at the lodge after an exhilarating day.

Day 6: November 12, 2026 – Dog Sledding & Return to Winnipeg
Wrap up your Arctic adventure with an introduction to dog sledding, a traditional northern pastime. After a demonstration, take a thrilling ride across the snowy tundra. Fly back to Winnipeg on a private charter and join fellow travelers for a farewell dinner at the Inn at the Forks.

Day 7: November 13, 2026 – Journey Home
Tour ends: Winnipeg.
Depart at your convenience, with included transfers to Winnipeg International Airport.

Pricing includes tour, accommodations, intra-Canada flights (Winnipeg/Manitoba). International Flights are not included between your home gateway and Winnipeg. Group insurance (non age-rated) quotes will be given upon request (for residents of most states) but may need to be adjusted for airfare later. Prices and fares are non-refundable so you will need the insurance to cancel. The insurance is not “cancel for any reason”; cancellation is only reimbursed for a covered reason.
