Joan moved to North Myrtle Beach with her husband George in 2009 from New Jersey. She lived in Manhattan for thirty years so she says she's had her fill of big city living.
Her career began working as a supervisor of TWA's Fifth Avenue ticket office and left to segue in to the event/conference planning business. She's had the good fortune of travelling the world, by air and cruising as well.
She volunteers at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center as a volunteer in the Emergency Department, works for MGA, and in her down time plays tennis and loving on her horse Princess.
She was born and raised on Long Island and moved to Ft. Lee, Virginia after marrying Tom in 1965. After Tom served his two years in the Army, they moved back to LI and settled in Plainview. They have two wonderful children, Cathy and Rick, five, very wonderful grandchildren and a spunky pup named Rocky who fills their empty nest syndrome.
Marge worked 20 years in Administration at the Plainview School District before retiring in 1997 and leaving LI for good in a 36’ 1997 Motorhome.
After living in the RV for two years and traveling 47 states, Canada and Mexico, they settled in South Carolina by the beach. Still,She and Tom continued traveling, always returning to the beach.
In 2007 Marge moved for the last time, away from the beach, to her forever home at Seasons in Murrells Inlet. She went to work with Michael to help with phones, messages and easy tasks. Now she absolutely loves learning how technical and all that goes into making for one great and memorable vacation.
Marge always enjoyed traveling and was fortunate to start many years before retiring. Some of her favorite destinations are Australia, New Zealand, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Panama Canal, Alaska, Hawaii and anywhere in the Caribbean.
Cruising is by far her choice for the most relaxing vacation possible.Marge feels truly blessed to be retired more than 22 years, living in a great, very active community and being a part of the Michael Graham & Associates Family.
Jody chose travel as my second career after 30 years in the communications industry. For the past 10 years she has have been able to travel to countries and cities that she only dreamed about when when she was young.
"My favorite tour was to Egypt, my favorite cruise to the Mediterranean and I have visited my favorite city, Venice, many times. I believe the true value to traveling is in the connections you will make with the people you meet."
