Why We Like It

A boutique hotel that moves through India.

Ganges Voyager II is not a European river ship transplanted to India. Her scale, décor, accommodations and onboard rhythm are designed around the destination.

The ship combines a peaceful home base with access to river communities, temples, artisan villages and historic towns that are difficult to experience in the same way by road.

MGA Insight
India can be exhilarating and intense. A small luxury river ship gives travelers a comfortable sanctuary while the scenery and experiences come to them.

Dining

Curated and social

Meals are timed around touring and scenic cruising. Dining is communal and social rather than spread among numerous specialty venues.

The ship is best suited to travelers who enjoy a curated dining experience and the camaraderie of fellow guests.

Signature Experiences

What defines the voyage

Watching India from the river

Fishermen, villages, fields and temples appear around gentle bends in a rhythm unavailable from the road.

Returning to sanctuary

The ship becomes a calm and familiar retreat after days filled with color, history and discovery.

Unpacking once

Settle into one suite while the destination changes around you.

Small-ship camaraderie

With only 56 guests, familiar faces and conversation develop naturally.

Ship Layout

Compact and easy to understand

Ganges Voyager II is small enough that public spaces and suites are never far apart. The ship has no elevator, however, so guests must use stairs between passenger decks.
