Lodge-Based Adventure in Alaska

A few years ago I took my family on Alaska Wildland Adventures 11 Day Grand Adventure. It was one of the best trips of my life!

Personally I think that in order to see Alaska properly you should visit by cruise and by land. But if you have to pick one, pick this one.

AWA’s Alaska Adventures are all inclusive, small group tours which feature fully guided hiking, rafting, kayaking and relaxing at wilderness lodges on the Kenai Peninsula and in Denali National Park. This trip, Alaska 11-Day Grand Adventure, stays at all three of their deluxe wilderness lodges on the Kenai Peninsula and an immersive experience in Denali National Park over a relaxed, 11-day journey.

They take care of the details including lodging, transportation, equipment and most dining so that you’re able to simply relax and enjoy the surroundings. In 2021 this Lodge Adventure (if not sold out) is $8495 per person, based on double occupancy.

Explore Alaska at a relaxed pace with activities including a marine wildlife and glacier cruise in Kenai Fjords National Park; hiking to alpine tundra to take in amazing views of a glacier-carved lake; kayaking among glacier bergs; and more! This trip also includes an immersive experience deep in the heart of Denali National Park, followed by a luxurious journey back to Anchorage aboard the first-class Alaska Railroad Goldstar cars.

What’s really nice? Combine this adventure with a cruise for the ultimate adventure! But be advised, that might be in 2022, as cruises to Alaska in 2021 are currently uncertain.

On the other hand, if you were booked on a cancelled cruise to Alaska, and you had your heart set on going in 2021, contact us and we can get you booked by land…even this 11 day Grand Adventure!
