Hotels are currently TBD, and will be updated once confirmed. While your international airfare to/from the USA is not included, all intra-tour flights listed below are included.

Day 1: December 1, Santiago, Chile

  • Welcome to Santiago: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The day is yours to relax before a welcome dinner hosted by your Tour Director, introducing you to the journey ahead.
  • Accommodation: Quality hotel in Santiago.
  • Meals: Outlander Welcome Dinner.

Day 2: December 2, Santiago

  • City Tour: Embark on a tour of Santiago with a local guide, exploring the city’s colonial and modern contrasts. Highlights include the Government Palace, Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, and Santa Lucia Hill.
  • Local Flavors: Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant and visit La Vega Central Market to sample Chilean cuisine. The day ends with stunning views from Cerro San Cristobal.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 3: December 3, Santiago – Valparaíso – Viña del Mar

  • Seaside Excursion: Discover the charming cities of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar, renowned for their artistic vibes and beautiful gardens. Visit Pablo Neruda’s La Sebastiana Museum.
  • Meals: Breakfast.

Day 4: December 4, Santiago – Vinolia Wine Experience

  • Wine Adventure: Dive into Chile’s wine culture at Vinolia, featuring an interactive experience with a virtual flight over wine valleys, tasting sessions, and a lunch paired with exquisite wines. The evening offers a folklore show with dinner.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5: December 5, Santiago – Easter Island

  • Journey to Easter Island: Fly to the world’s most remote island, famous for its enigmatic moai statues. The rest of your day is free to relax or explore.
  • Accommodation: Quality hotel in Easter Island.
  • Meals: Breakfast.

Day 6: December 6, Easter Island

  • Exploration of Moai Sites: Tour significant archaeological sites, including Ahu Vaihu and the Rano Raraku quarry, where hundreds of statues remain. Witness the restoration at Ahu Tongariki and enjoy the beach of Anakena.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 7: December 7, Easter Island

  • Volcano and Culture: Visit the Rano Kau volcano, explore the ancient village of Orongo, and discover the cave of Ana Kai Tangata. The day concludes at Ahu Akivi and the Puna Pau quarry.
  • Meals: Breakfast.

Day 8: December 8, Easter Island – Santiago

  • Return to Santiago: Fly back to Santiago and settle into your hotel. Enjoy dinner and prepare for the next leg of your adventure.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

Day 9: December 9, Santiago – Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales

  • Patagonian Gateway: Fly to Punta Arenas, then drive to Puerto Natales, witnessing the Patagonian steppe. The evening is free after dinner at the hotel.
  • Accommodation: Quality hotel in Puerto Natales.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 10: December 10, Puerto Natales – Torres del Paine

  • Torres del Paine National Park: Visit Milódon Cave and explore the park’s stunning landscapes, including Los Cuernos and Salto Grande. The day ends at Lago Grey with views of the glacier.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 11: December 11, Torres del Paine

  • Park Wonders: A full day in Torres del Paine, visiting Los Cuernos, Laguna Azul, and Cascada Paine, with chances to spot local wildlife.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 12: December 12, Torres del Paine – El Calafate

  • To Argentina: Travel to El Calafate, the gateway to the Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciares National Park. Enjoy a guided hike to Laguna Ines.
  • Accommodation: Quality hotel in El Calafate.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 13: December 13, El Calafate – Glacier Cruises

  • Glacier Adventures: Cruise Lago Argentino for close-up views of the Upsala and Spegazzini Glaciers. Disembark for a trek and enjoy lunch at a mountain hut.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 14: December 14, El Calafate – Perito Moreno Glacier

  • Perito Moreno Glacier: Witness the awe-inspiring Perito Moreno Glacier. Walk along the catwalks for panoramic views and possibly see the ice calving into the lake below.
  • Meals: Breakfast.

Day 15: December 15, El Calafate – Iguassu Falls

  • To Iguassu Falls: Fly to Iguassu Falls, one of the planet’s most stunning natural wonders. Enjoy dinner at your hotel upon arrival.
  • Accommodation: Quality hotel in Iguassu Falls.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

Day 16: December 16, Iguassu Falls

  • Argentine Side: Explore the Argentine side of Iguassu Falls, including a ride on the Ecological Jungle Train and a walk on boardwalks over the falls. Visit The Bird Park to see local wildlife.
  • Meals: Breakfast.

Day 17: December 17, Iguassu Falls

  • Brazilian Side: Tour the Brazilian side of the falls for breathtaking views and close encounters with the thunderous waters. Your evening is at leisure after a farewell dinner.
  • Meals: Breakfast, Dinner.

Day 18: December 18, Iguassu Falls – Buenos Aires

  • Departure: After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires, marking the end of your South American adventure. If you’d like to stay a few days on your own, we will be glad to help you make those arrangements.
  • Meals: Breakfast.

Prices are Per Person, estimated and subject to change prior to deposit, based on availability and double occupancy. They include land, accommodations, transfers, intra-tour air, and all items shown as included in the itinerary, taxes, and fees. Prices do not include international Airfare. Optional insurance is available (for residents of most states) but may need to be adjusted for the cost of the actual airfare. Prices and fares are non-refundable so you will need the insurance to cancel. The insurance is not “cancel for any reason”; cancellation is only reimbursed for a covered reason. 

Final Payment will be due not later than June 20th, 2025.

Call for the limited Solo Traveler Pricing if available (we can try to help pair you with another solo traveler of the same gender if you wish). The Deposit amount (and total price shown) already includes a $200 per person non-refundable Outlander Add-on and a $200 per person non-refundable professional fee paid to MGA Travel, which includes a special dinner and other amenities, planning, and our time. Please note that until deposited, pricing is subject to change and based on availability.
